I have no idea where Februrary went to. Months just pass me by at the moment.
I have been wanting to blog for a while but I havn't really known what to say; things to say but no idea how to say stuff.
So I am going to skirt around the edges here.
Some will know that right now Gary is away in South Africa, he decided to go quite quickly, (this is the bit I was struggling with - having to say something but not knowing what to say). Anyway, he landed safely, I hope he has a good rest and time out from work, and spends some quality time with his family. On the side of the world if you are reading this - I am thinking of you all - you are in my thoughts and prayers xxx
I havn't done much scrapping of late, I havn't really had the time or the inclination, but here's my latest lo I did a couple of weeks ago.

It shows Sam and his very very active imagination!! - I appreciate all the writing cannot be read so here is how the story went:
Oh no!!! I didn't have time to explain all of this one morning, driving to school.
The gist of the conversation, started by Georgia, went along the lines of what were we made from and where did we come from!
Sam saved a rushed explanation, by announcing that he arrived on earth in a spaceship when he met us all for the first time!!!
"I set off in my rocketship, but suddenly massive rocks were in front of me. I had to get out and push them out of the way. I got back into my rocket"
"Then there was a giant ahead. I got out again and pushed him away with my big muscles. I got back into the spaceship and carried - on my way to Earth"
Sam boarded his rocket again, and before landing on Earth, he ate his picnic. When he arrived he met mummy, daddy and his sisters; the Earth was beginning to crack and disappear. So he made us get onto his spaceship and took us away from danger.
Anyway my main reason for blogging is to show Gary these next photos, and tell him that he can ber very very very proud of his girls. They are absolute stars!!!
I have spent time since September running them up and down to dance class for rehearsals for the show. Last night was the dress rehearsal, and tonight and Saturday it's showtime!! I have spent the last few weeks preparing them and their gear and costumes etc etc - and it is fantastic to see it come to fruition, so Gary, these are for you
...
This was as we set off - hair almost done - I sooooooooo cannot do buns!!! - but it was ponytailed ready to dress and fully made up!!!
This was Georgia's first dance "An English Country Garden" - she was the bumble bee. I have to say I was very worried when I was watching this. the older younger children seemed to have so much responsibility towards the baby girls - and it did look at one point like Georgia might just burst into tears with it all. I have shown two pics, a close up, but another to show us that she did smile and enjoy it too.
I missed the next section, as it was running late (what else!!) and I had Sam with me to take home and get to bed.

And this??? Well THIS is our eldest daughter, Abigail, who at the age of two I had to take to the speech therpist cos she wouldn't talk to anyone. She COULD talk, but wouldn't talk freely outside of people she knew well - she seemd so scared and shy and quiet!!
Where was I, oh yes, well THIS, this is our eldest daughter, Abigail, fully miked up, belting it out on a stage, singing " A Mouse in a Windmill"
I do have other photos, but there are other children with them so its probably best not to post here!
But I was incredibly proud of them both for the same reason and different reasons - they were fabulous.
The night before, we took our Brownies up to the Halo, the Halo is Rossendale's answer to the Angel of the North. Fortunatley it stayed dry, it was very cold stood about at the top, and very hard to take photographs cos the the slow shutter speed and having to keep still for AGES - and having cold shivery hands!! apparently i need a Joby Gorillapod - SLR
Gary, I said apparently i need a Joby Gorillapod - SLR !!!! (Psssttttt they are about £25 here.........(thought they may be cheaper there perhaps??))
Anyway I digress
It was a good night, and everyone seemed to enjoy it.
Earlier in January or was it Feb, we had a little snow, not much but enough to build a snowman, and here he is (thats for George - Gary said I must show you!!)

I'll pop by tomorrow with an update on shownight itself; I am watching tonight with my mum and baby Sam. On Saturday I will be helping out in the dressing room.
Sam is really looking forward tonight, he does want to start dancing lessons much to Gary's chagrin (not sure if thats the right word or not). Unfortunatley for Gary, he'll still be away week Saturday when I have the dancing run to do AND look after Sam - should I just combine the two???? hmmmmmmmmmmm ......................
