Well where do i start !!
I got Rocco, and on the Saturday, my pc guy came round to put a new memory card in my pc - this was to make it work a bit faster cos it has been PAINFULLY slow.
Anyways that didn't help !!! He said the best thing to do was put a brand new drive in it - so he took it - right there and then!!
Didn't need to worry too much though, we got Gary's old lap top down and I used that for a while, til Cosmo (my pc LOL) arrived home, but it didn't like doing certain things - and logging onto here to update was one of those things.
So it was gone for a week, and what a week it was !
First of all on the Sunday Gary went to the tip - with all the stuff from my mad blitzing - he was alo putting the stuff I had put into boxes into bags - and he found it - Abigail's tooth!!! So he was superdaddy - til I told her she was already paid out for that one - double!
Monday they went back to school, and on Wednesday Georgia had her very first night at Rainbows - she was sooooooo excited. By this time the cream had worked miracles on Sam's legs and he was a little more settled through the night, but I think he's teething too. So the Wednesday that Georgia starts, we are about to have tea - and trust me Wednesday is a mad mad rush - straight from school to swimming, home at quarter past four, shove something down their necks for tea before now leaving at about 5.15 for Rainbows. So Sam is racing about and acting the goat - he collides with the radiator - blood EVERYWHERE - I clean him up, but he is just not interested in his tea. So we go to Rainbows but as I lift him into the car - his upper lip which hadn't been bleeding is really swollen. So when I get home - i post on uks for advice (where-else ??? !!!!), phone my Brownie guider to say i mightn't make it, and my mum for some help ferrying everyone around. So my mum went to collect georgia and also take Abigail to Brownies. When she got back Sam had settled asleep (he had decided in the interim to eat his tea) so I went for the tail end of Brownies!
On Thursday it was Thinking Day - the girls went to school in their Rainbow and Brownie uniforms - and had a great day.
Saturday - my pc is coming home the following day - so I think.
and if you're still actually with me here - we went dancing - although Abigail had woken up with a slight headache. By the time Georgia had finished her lesson Abigail was more or less slumped at the table - so I gave her some Calpol but decided to come home. She went straight to bed and fell asleep, but by 1pm she was screaming her head was so sore and I couldn't gove her any more meds til another hour at least. I phoned the docs out of hours, and they gave me some further self help advice, with instruction to phone again should she get a rash, temp rise to a certain point or vomitting. So we did as we were told.
At 1am she got up and came to me in my bed - crying cos of her head, and then said "oh my god - I'm going to be sick", promply throwing up on her way to the toilet, so I came down and phoned as told to, and got cloths to clean up. Whilst I awaited the nurses to ring back, she told me she could see two of some things - in her peripheral vision.
So I told the nurse this and she said that due to her vision problems she was going to phone the doctor. They rang me and said they had made her an appointment at 3.15 am.
So we set off in the car around 3am, he checked her out and said more than likely it was a bug but if not improved we should see the gp the following week. We got home around 4, she went to bed, but I was buzzing, so I did the ironing!!!
Sunday I had to tell the pc man we had a bug in the house - his mother was in hospital so obviously we had to take care - after calling the hospital he was advised not to go anywhere near bugs!! SO no pc !!!!!!!
Monday (and I am sure you are bored by now - but this is also serving as a diary for Abs' head journal) - she went to school - she was due a gold merit is assembly and didn't want to miss that, Georgia was off for the day - she had a sore tummy - so Gary and I went to parent's assembly - Abigail looked washed out. I never made it to Kendal - was supposed to go with Gary for the day, and had even checked out some craft shops too). Gary got home around 2 just as the school phoned - Abigail's head was hurting again.
Tuesday they both stayed off and I booked them into the gp's.
The GP seemed concerned that Abigail was waking during the night with head pains, this is rare he said, so he was referring her urgently to a specialist; Georgia by this time was bouncing around - full recovered methinks!!
We kept Abigail off school as advised Weds and Thurs - she missed the show which we were supposed to be going to - but thankfully we got our money back, and she missed dressing up at school for World Book Day - Georgia went dressed as Little Red Riding Hood as per Abigail's outfit last year.
Abigail was eventually painfree by Thursday, but we kept her off Friday too, and decided she shouldn't dance on Saturday.
On Friday I got a call from the GP's - she has her appoitment Mon 12th March at Rochdale (where's that !!!) I have to pick up a letter on Monday.
So Saturday arrives, we went dancing again - Geoprgia's rehearsal with the pianist for her ballet exam, and then came home.
And then at just before midday - my pc came home too!!! It's working a treat so far, and I can play with Rocco again - and I have a couple of other bits of software on to to mess about with.
Hopefully though next week is more back to normal and I can continue blitzing!!!
See you soon
xx
